Personal Profile
I have many years experience in the electrical field. Much of this was at the Milton Keynes Theatre working with the vast and complex electrical installation required to support this large modern theatre.
During 2004 to 2006 I attended Milton Keynes College studying for City & Guilds Level 1 & 2 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology of which all exams, both Theory and Practical, resulted in distinction passes.
Studied and Passed the City & Guilds 2381 — 16th Edition Wiring Regulations in June 2006.
Studied and Passed the City & Guilds 2391 — Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations in October 2006.
Studied and Passed the City & Guilds 2382-2 — Requirements for Electrical Installations 16th to 17th Edition Update in February 2008.
I am qualified to perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and have the ability to deliver the test sheets in an electronic database format.
My background at Milton Keynes Theatre which, with the formal qualifications above, ensure that the work I perform in the electrical industry meets the current British Standards (BS7671) 17th Edition of the Electrical Regulations. My experience includes excellent analytical skills ensuring that any problems are diagnosed quickly and first time. To verify my work, Electrical Works Certificates will be issued detailing the circuit design, installation, specifications and test results. This ensures peace of mind that the work complies with the regulations and therefore is safe. It also makes life easier (and cheaper) for any subsequent changes that may need to be made as the electrician does not need to work out what has already been done.
Note : The Regulations are being updated to the 17th Edition. Publication of the documentation took place in Jan 2008 and will come into force in July 2008.
